| In high-temperature processing of materials such as steel sheets, the heat of the material itself can affect the roll shape and reduce processing accuracy. In Tokuden rolls, however, the induction coil is divided into a number of smaller coils. The power to each coil can be controlled to suppress roll distortion. This superior heat-control precision brings greater flexibility to processing at high temperatures (up to 800℃). |
