| Polymer filters are used to remove foreign
matter, such as waste materials, from resin just prior
to the spinning process. Tokuden filters are equipped
with induction heating mechanisms that keep the filters
at a constant temperature, maintain resin uniformity,
and prevent clogging of the fine filter mesh. The result
is better quality in the spun thread. |

| Electromagnetic Vessels or Univestors are
commonly used to mix, melt and concentrate raw materials
in the production of medicines, resin products and foods.
Induction heating, a basic principle behind the Jacket
Roll, is applied in the reaction chamber of the Univestor
to control the heatig and cooling. The outstanding precision
of the Univestor allows heating at high temperatures and
very fine reaction control over long periods of time-something
not possible in the past.Because the induction coils can
be produced separately-unlike conventional reaction chambers,
such as boilers, where the coils are integrated with the
heat source-maintenance is far easier. The coils can be
kept clean without disassembly of the heat source unit. |

| A feature of induction heating is that heat
can be generated within the metal simply by inducing current
to flow through it. Tokuden used this principle to develop
a new mechanism that heats metal by placing it in a uniform
magnetic field. This system is simpler than previous systems
and makes for a cleaner production environment-two big
advantages over thermal processing and thermal adhesion
systems of the past. |
